Expert Cleaning Procedures

All brick faces and mortar strengths vary in their ability to take chemicals and high-pressure water. Therefore, the cleaning process has to be individually adjusted for every job. Too much acid or too much pressure can cause damage to your brickwork and or mortar by inexperienced operators.

 

Special Preparation Procedures

If plastering/rendering/paving or landscaping is already completed prior to brick cleaning, special care must be taken to help avoid damage. This often requires hand cleaning of some sections of your brickwork.

Neutralising

All brickwork is neutralised after acid washing. This is an extremely important process often neglected by other brick cleaners. Neutralisation helps to prevent future staining. This is especially important with light coloured bricks from interstate or overseas.
